As the mostly anonymous artist shares, “The song, pulled from past experiences, is a rant directed at the types of people that judge others for being different. It's about being yourself and ignoring that rowdy group of lads in the club that all wear polos tucked into chino shorts with boat shoes and no show socks, jacked up from gym and starting on you when they get bored - you being the outlet for their anger towards those who are different to their norms.” With indie-hop drums, disco guitar warbles and pop-leaning chord progressions, Devon creates the perfect space for fellow weirdos to get down, lose oneself and celebrate difference.
